I am an enthusiastic technologist and an empathetic mental health advocate with over twenty years of experience supporting people to overcome their personal and professional struggles and to live more fulfilling lives.
I am currently employed as a VP for a global bank and have spent the last year upskilling in cloud computing, payment technology and security, completed my advanced product owner certification and PMP at the end of 2024 and just passed my exam for the Payment Card Industry Professional certification.
I am a founding member and the past Affiliate President of the WiCyS (Women in Cybersecurity) Neurodiversity Affiliate and was appointed as a Google Women’s Techmakers Ambassador. I am also an advisor on the Cyber Guild’s Diverse Mind Movement committee supporting neurodiversity and women’s career pivots into a cybersecurity career at all levels.
Over the last three years I have been lucky to present at the SANs Neurodiversity Summit, Day of Shecurity, the Diana Initiative Conference, DefCon and WinterCon with Blacks in Cybersecurity where I have shared details about my own career journey, provided personal and professional development tips, continued to raise awareness about the struggles women experience in technology careers, and advocated for open discussion about mental health and wellness.
I love talking to and learning from smart people and love to spend time in innovative spaces where I can refine my skills. When I am not working, I enjoy travel, mentoring, reading, gardening, cooking, playing with my dogs, beating my husband at scrabble/trivial pursuit/jeopardy and spending time with family.
If you are interested in working with me in any way, please send me an email or message me on LinkedIn!
Take care!
